The Institute for Problems of Cryobiology and Cryomedicine of the NAS Ukraine (IPC&C) is a pioneer and leading research institution, dealing with stem cell biology, regenerative medicine and stem cell banking in Ukraine. The IPC&C has established the first Ukrainian cryobank for the long storage of cell and tissue samples, including clinical-grade cord blood storage. During more than 40 years of its history, the IPC&C has become a kick-off position for many researchers all over the world. In Ukraine the former staff members of the Institute organized several SMEs dealing with regenerative medicine and distributed the knowledge in many universities and medical schools. The Institute has organized many meetings on stem cell biology, cryobiology and regenerative medicine.
